pilaí (adjective): young, fresh, new, newly occurring or growing.

“a new calf was born yesterday”

The adjective pilaí is used in opposition to timaí ‘new, newly acquired’, as it holds the connotation of an entity that has newly grown or emerged, rather than an object recently acquired or transferred ‘newly’ into someone’s possession.
