rúsun, originally from Classical Trevecian rûyhen ‘line, column’, is one of a number of terms associated with Olerism that High Eolic has loaned from Trevecian. Others include súrap ‘sheet for covering the outer face of Oleric temple pillars at night’ (Cl. Tre. sûrap ‘sheet, cover’), mírnit ‘holy book; book of scripture’ (Cl. Tre. mîrnith ‘book’) and arása ‘fasting, fast-time’ (Cl. Tre. arêyha ‘fast-time’).
