High Eolic word of the day: nilissárte

nilissá- (ditransitive verb), imperfective nilissárte: to send (something to someone).

“they sent letters to each other”

As with sindárte, nilissárte is a ditransitive verb whose secondary argument is in the illative case. With nilissárte, using the illative is especially intuitive, since sending something to someone clearly involves movement towards the recipient (implied by the illative).
