cÃmen can be used to refer to “soup” in general, but it more often designates a kind of dense, hearty broth with pieces of meat and either buckwheat (tulún) or rye (sanarca). It is often eaten by soldiers.

nassár is a general designation for anyone whose profession is felling trees and transporting them around (or selling them). By extension, it’s also used for horses used in dragging heavy loads (such as logs) – especially the stronger Carbian breeds first introduced to Eoleon in the 9th century.

cerindá- is one of the few verbal roots in High Eolic with both transitive and intransitive reflects. Although middle constructions often function as an effective way to reduce transitivity, there are only a few lexicalized instances of the use of a single verb root in both transitive and intransitive ways. The transitive use of cerindá- is demonstrated in the example below.

rúsun, originally from Classical Trevecian rûyhen ‘line, column’, is one of a number of terms associated with Olerism that High Eolic has loaned from Trevecian. Others include súrap ‘sheet for covering the outer face of Oleric temple pillars at night’ (Cl. Tre. sûrap ‘sheet, cover’), mÃrnit ‘holy book; book of scripture’ (Cl. Tre. mîrnith ‘book’) and arása ‘fasting, fast-time’ (Cl. Tre. arêyha ‘fast-time’).

The verb tanácam exhibits a general phonological rule in High Eolic whereby any of the consonants {y h l v t r} is elided root-finally if preceded by a long vowel and followed by a short vowel in an affix. This often obscures the actual form of verbal roots, which then generally only surface in imperative, perfective, and/or middle forms.
